Admittedly, I did not follow summer ball or kept tabs on the team. Is it expected our hitting will improve? Pitching will still be solid?

I'm kind of hoping I missed something and Javy will no longer be batting and third base coach.

If I could turn back the hands of time, I would say beating Stony Brook for a trip to the CWS.

Javi did a great job babysitting Paul's kids while he went on vacation this summer. His job is safe

We're still rooting for his firing, right? Why is this guy given such preferential treatment. He banging Paul's daughter?

Doesn't matter. That's the expectations of this program every year and it should never change.

Less strikeouts and big bat to put in either the 3 or the 4, need to get a little more power in the line up.

I expect this to be a better hitting team, and pitching to be down a tad. But like always, a super regional host and potentially Omaha is what I hope for.

After listening to Maineiri on the radio the other night, he seems to think this will be a better team at every position besides SS(Nola), closer(Goody), and Fri night starter(Gausman). He was real high on Bregman and said he should be an upgrade at the plate from Nola, just not quite as good defensively. The Ibarra kid from JUCO has been mentioned quite a bit as he'll be starting at 3rd. We need to find a Sunday starter behind Nola and Eades. Bullpen should be s strength with many veterans returning. This team should also be much better at the plate with Rhymes, Katz, Jacoby, Ross and the incoming freshman. Omaha or bust IMO

No. We're talking about expectations and at LSU they are extremely high every year and justifiably so.
