I don't care if its only for one season, I hope D'haquille gets his grades right and comes to BR. Dude is a freak athlete.

williams, beckwith, landry, leslie. that would be the greatest wr group in LSU history.

I think you mean Beckham... And lets slow down calling them the "best wr group in LSU history". 2 of those guys arent even at LSU, and OBJ has regressed from last year. Landry is our best WR on the team right now, and he even started off slow this year. They can be good, no doubt, but we need to get them here first and then see what happens. Slow down calling them the best WRs ever in LSU history, when their not even here yet.

If Williams can make it aboard and totally expect him too then add Quinn, Avery "Johnson" Peterson and a few others not to mention the potential of DeSean Smith at TE, this WR class could be very good.

The QB's we have for the future, yes it does look pretty sweet!

That includes Leonard Fournette. He dominated the Honey Badger and Micah Eugene when he was at ESJ.

I saw him play against Acadiana. He caught 1 pass on a busted coverage for a touchdown. His only catch of the night ( Even though he was ejected late in the second period for throwing a punch. Frustrated because he was doing the opposite of dominating). So IDK what game you watched but he didn't dominate anything and I was less than impressed with his 1 and a half quarters of domination......

Just about every head coach has said he's one of the best they've ever seen, with the potential to be even better. You watched one game out of many. Plus I seriously doubt you watched him the whole game.

I only saw Frank Monica and Lou Valdin say that, not nearly EVERY Coach.

I had heard about him, and you're right. I didn't watch him the whole game. If you had read my post then you would know he had gotten ejected in the second quarter for punching someone. I was merely pointing out that one catch in 2 quarters isn't exactly what I would call domination. Frankly, I was upset in not only his lack of effort in a playoff game but also how easily frustrated he got because for all but one play they were covering him like a blanket. He punched someone and was ejected. He didn't strike me as a "team" guy and overall I would say he probably has a piss poor attitude. He wouldn't be worth the trouble IMHO.

He was covered by two and three players most of the night. I watched him the entire night and he was getting frustrated and never got going in the passing game and had at least five carries in the game for good yards. Part of the frustration was when he would get open, the quarterback couldn't find him....and yes he was open! And the ONE catch he had was the best play of the season. He went up and snagged the ball with one hand in front of two defenders and threw Eugene off of him like a ragdoll and ran it in for about a 60 yard TD. That was all I needed to see!

Totally agree. But, to say they are the best WR class we have ever had before they even get here is a bit premature. And I think Avery Johnson is keeping his last name Johnson. Could be wrong though.

I believe he was a 3* ranked like #25 in the state according to Rivals. But, I think he was ranked so low because everyone knew he was going JUCO because of his school credits issue.

Yea each site is always diff. He should of been top 5 in the state, but I think everyone knew he wasnt going to qualify so they didnt hype him up as much.
