had one what?
If Bama beats UGA they get one of the two BCS spots for the SEC. If Fl. St. beats Florida, that opens the door for LSU to get an at-large spot in either the Fiesta or Rose. Good enough for me.

Abso-fricking-lutely it was worth it

Yea it most likely cost us the Sugar Bowl. Unless the winner of the SECCG is in the National Championship.
Granted Alabama losing to Texas A&M and Auburn also beating Texas A&M would possibly put us into the SEC Championship Game.
It also adds the talk of the Fiesta Bowl. Two projections I've seen had us against Oklahoma in the Fiesta. Or the Fiesta vs Notre Dame.

Hell yes its worth it...we lost games..that is the #1 reason we may not get to go to a respectible bowl....no one's elses fault, but LSU

Now LSU won't even play in respectAble bowl.
I wonder if the LSU program will ever be the same after this horrible team and coaching staff cost us another national championship?!

The Bama loss, while potential hurting our Sugar Bowl chances, has nothing to do with our BCS fate. LSU will require an FSU win (Gator loss) to get into a BCS bowl and that is regardless of whether or not Bama won or lost.
I agree with several others in the fact that a change of scenery from NOLA would be nice. Geaux Noles!

Did not read the rest of the thread, but any day that Bama loses is a good day. Period.
