Spinoff of the HIMYM ending thread
Leonard was once quoted as saying that Sheldon is one lab accident away from being a Super Villain. So, I was thinking. What if they actually went through with this? What if Sheldon was in a lab accident and gained super powers?

Considering Sheldon would kill everyone now if he didn't need a ride everywhere, this would probably be the end of every other character, except Amy.

I don't see how it could be done without it being an off shoot episode.

Zombie community was a major plot point that lead to several events in that season. It was far from an offshoot. The video game community was an offshoot.

Yeah, the show has gone from 4 Geeks and the Hot Unattainable Neighbor Girl to Geeky Friends. No way they can go in that direction now that so much focus is on boy girl relations.

eh.. I don't think I would like it unless they somehow created an offshoot episode where Sheldon is writing a book or something.

In my mind, Sheldon would be like an Sheldon-esque Dr. Evil. He would be an evil genius, but would be completely inept at it due to his OCD and other idiosyncrasies. Maybe super powers is the wrong way to go about this (although an offshoot episode where he dreams this would be epic). Maybe he just becomes extremely wealthy, proceeds to go crazy with power, etc.
