Old school category - Joe Jackson. This guy is a heck of a lot more than Steppin' Out. Blaze of Glory and Rain were amazing albums.

I'm starting to meet more and more people who've actually hear of him... feels good, man.
Meet the dude at HoB right after Addicted released. We chit chatted and praised each other (he acts really humble and glad to perform, and I was mutually thankful for the countless hours of entertainment he's provided me) before he started unloading the gear off his bus with the rest of the band. Tried to get a photo before we split, and totally forgot I had my settings for indoor shooting

Bwahahahaha, you should send him that picture. That's hilarious. He looks even Canadianier than usual.

Alkaline Trio is solid pick.
Butch Walker is the most talented unappreciated musician on the planet.

Saw PTM at two different festivals and they put on a great show both times. You must have had a bad experience and for that I am sorry.
I'll say Gary Clark, Jr.

Forgot about them
They were pretty popular in 99-00 when Astro Lounge came out. All Star and Then The Morning Comes were pretty big songs. I forgot I had that album.
