Here me out on this..

In light of the rivalry and history between LSU and Bama; if Bama beats UGA and wins out, and 2 of 3 undefeated teams stay that way (media wants OU-ND)-and yes, we need a UF loss to FSU

I see the Sugar Bowl looking to cash in on another rematch. Think about it--it's guaranteed ticket sales and slated for one of the best story lines.

I see us playing Bama in the Sugar Bowl

Imagine the hype and a great way to end the season without a national championship--beating SEC champ Bama for the Sugar!

It will happen!

This would require the Fiesta and Rose Bowls to pass on LSU. Which won't happen.

He is right though...it would get nuts ratings, publicity, tv spots, ticket sales, ad dollars, t-shirts, etc etc etc.

The LSU Alabama game last week was the highest rated football game in the last several years....

Fiesta and Rose have passed on LSU before and they will again; say K State loses--lock for Fiesta. Oregon left out--lock for Rose; even if they lose one.

Rose showed us how much they loved us in 2006; as did the Sugar Bowl.

The profit margin behind a rematch would be as big as last year, if not greater.

You know the reason they didn't pick us was b/c USC lost to UCLA in the last game of the season. The Rose Bowl was contractually obligated to pick the Pac 10 champ, once it wasn't going to the BCS Championship game.

If USC had won, we would've gone to the Rose b/c no other Pac 10 team was in the top 12 of the final BCS rankings

2006 isn't comparable to 2012.

The Sugar Bowl had second choice in 2006. LSU was in the Sugar Bowl before the Fiesta Bowl picked a team.

The Rose Bowl took Michigan as the Big 10 replacement team in 2006. There won't be a Pac 12 team in the top 14 for the Rose Bowl to take as a replacement for Oregon this season.

Then who goes to the title game? Probably Alabama.. Meaning no rematch in the Sugar Bowl.

I don't see the Sugar passing up on this. Or Bama and LSU.

Well, maybe Bama..

It would only add to LSU Bama becoming the new Michigan--OSU.

Media would have a field day with it.

I don't think two teams from the same conference can play each other in a BCS bowl. Unless its the National Championship

No it wouldn't. It would be the lowest rated BCS Bowl game.

have you ever seen the Orange Bowl's ratings?

4.56 last year compared to 10.1, 9.6, and 9.0 for the other 3 games (NCG had a 14).... any time you have an ACC-Big East match up you better pray you are getting UConn-Duke in basketball
