Nice video clip of a little history with Kennon Fontenot and Trey Quinn. Two good guys even though they play for Barbe. Very good athletes and outstanding young men.

It is time for the Tigers to offer Kennon in either football or baseball! He is the Louisiana version of "Johnny Football", and is also a great baseball player and great kid!

Thanks for the nice clip. Those two with senior TE DeSean Smith have been unstoppable thus far. There is a handfull of other athletes that have made contributions to their football and baseball teams. I start watching this grop as eight graders and predicted state champions in both football and baseball.
Last game Terrebone High School realized that they would not be able to covered thier receivers so they came after Fontenot every down which was somewhat effective but Smith was open almost each time. Smith will play next year and make fans think of Robert Royal. Barbe defense is improving and they could find a way to New Orleans in the winter as they do in the spring.

I remember watching both these kids when they played in the Little League World Series. You know most times the kids that are really good at that age don't seem to pan out. These two are really good athletes who are also great kids. I hope both find their way to LSU. No way you don't want those type of guys on your team.

I know they're supposed to be 100% tigers, but what if A+M offers Fontenot at QB and Quinn at WR, while LSU offers Fontenot at baseball and Quinn at WR? JFF would be a junior during Fontenot's RS freshman year.

I don't know them well enought to speculate on an A&M offer but from what I hear Quinn is all LSU just going to take his visits and make sure they don't rush into a decision. I'm going to assume the biggest knock on Fontenot is his height, reminds me a lot of the qb from Bastrop a few years ago that is at Ole Miss. If you go by measurables I guess he does not fit the mold of an SEC qb but I've just seen him too many times and my son has competed against him, he wins at every level. The only other knock is he seems to take a lot of shots which leads to him always being banged up. Both of them are winners plus the Jordan twins from Barbe are committed to play baseball at LSU right now and they have all been together for a long time so Kennon would probably go to LSU on a baseball but I heard he really loves football so we will see. I think he could easily convert to a safety also at the next level.

Russel Wilson, QB for the Seattle Seahawks, is helping guys like Kennon out alot. Russel is listed at 5'11" and performing at a very high level in the NFL. Kennon's style of play is VERY similar to what Manziel is doing at A+M right now and I cannot help but think that it is going to get some colleges attention!

The chance for the four of them (Jordan twins, Fontenot, Quinn) to be together at LSU in some cacapity (baseball/football), plus a stud left handed pitcher in Gunner Leger, is a feather in LSU's cap! LSU needs to offer Fontenot and Leger! TorNation said it well, they win games together, and I think they would continue to try to represent our state with class and dignity!

They also have a junior pitcher by the name of Erin Baldwin on the baseball team that is going to get some looks if he keeps progressing.
