If this thread has taught me anything, it's that there are still people out there that believe reported heights and weights on team rosters.

Wasn't Crabtree listed at 6'3"-6'4" at Texas Tech? Turns out they were about 3 inches off.

It is a lot easier to evaluate talent 4 years or so out of high school. It's a lot tougher to evaluate kids in high school.

As it stand LSU is doing very well when 15 of the 25 signees in a recruiting class are good enough to contribute on a regular basis.

If recruiting was more of a science, there wouldn't be a need to sign 25 kids, but we all know there are as many misses as hits.

And yes all teams miss on kids and they fail to offer some that eventually become top players.

Next time you watch an NFL game take note of how many of the NFL starters played for so called minor schools. It's usually a pretty significant number.

Patrick Lewis never projected as an offensive tackle and what we needed earlier this season was a replacement LT for Faulk. Lewis has done well for himself but I do not see him as a need on this roster or an upgrade over the guy we have now at OC. If we could've kept anyone on that A&M roster in Louisiana, it should've been Everette. Now we are relying on 2 freshman to start at cornerback and nickelback.

What fxxking game were you watching? Not everyone win all their battles..it's obvious you don't know football. And bxxch did you see the first and third drive, dude did work!

Watched same game as you did...and to answer your question..smartass..i did play in HS JC and did play on the o-line. Jessie williams owned him most of the game....period. Now "smart boy" if you taped the LSU-Bama game notice how the Tigers handled him. They did so well that Danielson (?) remarked that no one had handled Williams like the Tigers (Lonergan,Turner) were blocking him. Now go back to Biology class!
