I agree. 100% . I was also referring to every fan this week who called me an idiot for saying we would win, and there where a lot of them.
The "I'm just being a realist, the Saints are going to lose, we suck. Falcons are on fire plain and simple" crowd. Everyone who said "Take off your black and gold glasses for a second, we dont stand a chance." I'd like them to reflect on their thoughts right now.

In their defense our D is not ranked high and has had some terrible outings this year. This board(saints fans)was practically unanimous on that feeling. That was just a realistic fact. Nobody could spin that.
I would not criticize anyone for being critical of the D up to this point. We all knew it needed to get better quickly. It definitely got better when we needed it most. and that is all that matters in the end really. That W today. I do see improvement though even if all the stats do not show it.

Why would the NFL hold a vendetta against the Saints? They have been telling the refs to give the Saints all of the calls ever since Katrina.
