Why is it assumed he's going pro?

I think he needs another year, but his TD catch last night was unbelievable.

Mostly b/c of the log jam we have at RB. His stock will never improve and he has a good build for an NFL back.

He can run, catch, block, and is 3y out of HS. He should go.

I think he's hinted at it, but RB's really don't improve their draft stock. The NFL looks at their measurables, that won't change Production doesn't matter that much. Montee Ball was projected as a 3rd rounder last year. If Ware or Ford have draftable grades, they should go pro. Look at Ridley.

We have a log jam at RB and Ware/Ford arent really going to improve their stock by coming back with the emergence of Hill and return of Blue. Ford isn't an NFL back but Ware is IMO.

Ware is the best football player on that team.

He'll do just like Ridley did, get drafted in the 3rd and have a badass NFL career

I like Ware, but let's be objective here. He has less than 300 yds with no TDs rushing this season. He's had a number of injuries. You'd advise THIS GUY to give up his college eligibility for the draft? You may as well tell him to quit school and get a construction job.

They look at measurables, not stats!

Ok, what "measurable" does Ware have? He's not particularly big or fast.

Now, he does have good hands, but he has a very physical style of play and tends to get hurt a bunch. If he makes the league, I wouldn't be surprised if he has some highlight plays, but spends more time on the injured list than he does on the field.

So, what has he done stats-wise to justify that investment? Well, he ran for 700 yds last year, and under 300 thus far this... that's not a good draft move.
