The biggest reason I like Anime is the shows actually have a lot of structure. Characters evolve over time.

The biggest thing about anime is you have to know when to cut a show off. They will keep pumping out episodes for the bigger ones even though its obvious the show is dead (Cough Cough Bleach Cough Cough).

Thats why I tend to watch only the shows that have 24 episodes (1 season) or sometimes those with 2 seasons.

I have to disagree with that. The current arc in Bleach has the potential to make it number 1 again. But I must admit, the fillers were absolutely pathetic.

Nice to know I'm not the only one that has seen Chrome Shelled Regios

I recommend checking out Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It's in my opinion, one of the most influential shows I have ever seen.

It was alright. Not one of my favorites, but a good series none the less.

I've actually wanted to watch this one, but I've just never gotten the chance.

Right now I have 3 shows to finish:

Baccano!
Shakugan no Shana
Wolf's Rain

Also, if I were to recommend one, Id probably say to check out Toaru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index).

I liked it.

Tip for the anime fans with xbox live, get the Manga and Crackle apps. They're both free. Manga is nothing but anime. Crackle is like a free version of netflix but with limited commercials and a more limited selection. Their tv show section is about 85% anime though.

I use to be, don't have the time for anything other than American TV these days.. that being said, I wish American TV would be less retarded, like anime. Filler shows are absolutely awful though, Naruto and Bleach, I just read the mangas.. screw the anime.

I started it, made it to the second season, and became confused about everything.

The spinoff, A Certain Scientific Railgun, wasn't bad. I haven't finished it, but I enjoyed it.

I have a problem with necroing threads, but I'd ask for Toradora and Lovely Complex to be added. Yes, they're cheesy romantic comedies, but they're still decent.

I'm not an anime superfan, but I watch it on Netflix and others that people recommend to me. DBZ is my all time favorite, but some others are (note, not all listed are on netflix. Animebuzz.com):
Trigun
S.cry.ed
Stein's Gate
Inuyasha
Ghost in the Shell

That is a super thread. It goes beyond normal thread rules.

I'll add those to the rec list.
