Gotta love a thread about how X player is great/bad less than 2 weeks into the season.

I just don't see substantial room for improvement with the Rockets. Just because I see it that way doesn't mean I'm basing such an opinion with the Hornets in mind.

Youngest team in the league and currently 6th in the West? Cap space to sign a max player this offseason? Harden, a player who is now clearly in the elite category locked up for 6 years?

I expected huge numbers from Harden, but didn't think the team would be playing this well. 10-3 over last 13

Yea PatPat too. He's been great off the bench the last 2 games. I think he's better off the bench. And Morris had a shitty game tonight, but he has been much better as a starter.

Still concerned about those 3 weak games earlier in the season. Someone should check his beard, I think he's cheating.

It's funny that nobody was saying Harden for MVP when this thread started but now he'd be in the top 5. No shot he wins it but he would be behind only LeBron, KD, CP, and Carmelo IMO.

Thank God Thunder chose to keep Ibaka rather than Harden. 100% the right move.

This thread isn't about the Thunder. It sucks they couldn't keep both.

Honestly it was the best move for both parties. Happy for Harden and glad he's doing well.

J. Harden 36 Pts, 12 Reb, 7 Ast, 3 Stl

Tonight against the Heat. Is that tough enough competition for you?

HOUSTON -- James Harden had 35 points and 11 assists, Chandler Parsons scored 20 and the Houston Rockets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-103 on Friday night.

Harden went 13 for 16 from the field and 4 of 5 from 3-point range, putting on an individual show in the last game at the Toyota Center before the NBA's All-Star weekend comes to town. Harden was chosen as a reserve for the West squad, making his first All-Star team.
