I have several of the leather straps like that one. The particular strap in pic #2 was sent to me by a long time killing buddy who found them in a Lake Charles area saddle/knife shop. If you would like I can get the details.

I will check him out. I plan to retire one of my old straps when I get my dead mounted birds back. I will need to replace one

We are not busting up our team next year!
LSUballs has a few pics that haven't been posted. I think he lost interest after being banned and seeing his pics were not needed. He told me he would send them to Josey if they were needed.
MSwebfoot will need to start saving gas money in order to get where ever one of us has an empty seat next year. I like him. He continued trying all year even though he wasn't having much luck.
I also propose that next year mallards should be of more value than gadwalls. Oh yeah, geese need their own category outside of this competition!

I appreciate the kind words Chiorboy. It has been tough sledding. I went Saturday and killed a rabbit, see the Ninja Rabbit thread for a laugh. I have a call into a buddy that hunts in NE LA trying to get down for 2 or 3 days this weekend.
