This Will Happen: Mack WILL Retire at the End of This Season

He's tired. Damn tired and, if we can end this season on the upswing at 9-4 or 10-3, it will provide him the perfect opportunity to ride off into the sunset and into Belmont/UT Athletic Department.

I don't think so. He's still young (for a coach), younger than Nick Saban and has a real chance to get in the 300 club. He's not leaving Texas until they make him

I agree he looks tied and should go, I was thinking if the Kansas game had gone the other way, the heat would have ramped up. For UT's sake they need fresh blood. The Aggies are getting all the hype these days.

he is 70 wins away from 300...that could take 7+ years...doubtful he is allowed to last that long.

The demands of the LHN will make it difficult to find a suitable successor.
