BilJ mentioned the other day we've taken the lead. I trust in my guy, BilJ.

Of course, RSJ could get back to Texas and feel totally different than what he felt here

there was rumor of him wearing an A&M shirt at the A&M LSU game but that was before we played bama of course. With him and quantavious leslie our down field throwing game would be lethal not to mention beckham and landry returning

Gonna be a battle until signing day. Official visits will be the key in January. Does he want better production or to play for national titles?

If Mett continues his progression and plays like he did vs Bama next year, he can have both here. I do not see him taking a Redshirt.

If a team can be both a title contender and the right place to showcase their particular position then it is an easy decision of course.

However ,if that is not the case, it seems like more kids like to showcase their talents and production since it increases their NFL draft positions.

A title is nice but the only thing that matters to those stars who will move on is the NFL draft.

but i could see him coming to LSU and makingg an immediate impact which in turn would make him a big name. So he could play for titles and have production all with us

Not sure if it was an aTm shirt but they showed him on TV during the game and from what I saw it was a plain maroon shirt...

Don't see us pulling this kid out of Texas considering our offensive struggles this year..

RSJ will only play one year with Mett and it will be his true freshman season and he will have to take receptions away from proven WRs in Beckham and Landry as well as seasoned vets in Wright and Boone. Not to mention Leslie possibly coming in.

I'm interested in seeing our offense from here on out. I'm not sure we throw the ball 30+ times again this season, and that is probably something RSJ will watch too. I think we have a shot, but aTm's offense has got to be appealing to him. It may come down to stats vs championships.

The game day atmosphere last week could have only helped.

From what we gather from media, bloggers, recruits, players and message boards, the atmosphere was beyond description.

It would be very easy for adults to get swayed by that, leave alone 18 year olds.

RSJ and Brazil are getting tight. Brazil is our RS in this class. The future looks bright.

You would think so, but take a look at our WRs in the league compared to A&M's. Despite having a putrid passing offense the past 5 years -- and A&M having a wide open and much more effective passing O -- LSU has put MANY, MANY more WRs in the league including very high draft picks. In fact, the last A&M WR who was drafted was Reggie McNeal in the 6th round of the 2006 draft. Even more interesting, McNeal wasn't even a WR at A&M -- he was their QB.

Contrast that with LSU who, during that same time period, has had 6 (Craig Davis (1), Dwayne Bowe (1), Byrd (7), Doucet (3) Lafell (3), and Randle (2)).
