That current gets stiff in those cuts when the tide is going out, please keep that in mind.

few other things...don't put your waders on until you're about to get out the boat to go to the blind and wear a life jacket...and watch for barges and ships traveling the intracoastal which crosses the main river especially in the dark and on foggy mornings...people have died down there

My mom's HS boyfriend drowned with waders on and I had to pull a buddy out of South Pass after flipping pirouge about to drown. Neoprene's are better, but regardless I have an inflatable on at all times if I'm in boat with waders. I could write a book on close calls I've had doing stupid shite trying to kill a bird.
