Well they don't allow grills in the grove anymore! My wife is an Ole Miss fan and she is tired of all their better than thou rules! She is slowly changing to LSU but hey when you drive a regular ole car and you test drive the soured up tricked out hot rod, guess what you trade the regular ole car in! Yep that's right! She loves LSU tailgate, food, passion, craziness, and everything else that comes with being a Fighting Tiger of Louisiana State!!!!

He also noted that bar none LSU was the loudest and most inspiring stadium he had ever been in and the sheer number of fans inside and outside of the stadium amazed him.

Menu - blah, blah, blah. I could eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at every tailgate and still feel like I am in heaven. Being in that environment and mainly being in that stadium is the experience for me . I feel fortunate to have been raised up on LSU football. It's like a gift that keeps giving.

That was my thought but apparently the bama tailgate he attended had some well known local chef onsite cooking

Doesn't count a tailgating. That is a catered party. True tailgating is about the fans doing the cooking and the fun associated with that process.

So if I get Chefs Folse, Lagasse, & Besh to cater a pre-game party, we win?

Poor evaluation of the event!

I recall handing a bunch of Bama fans a couple pounds of boudin at the end of the game the last time Bama and LSU played in TS and the Tigers won. We just had too much food. They were very appreciative. I've been to the Ole Miss Grove tailgate and I think it's terrible. No place for the kids to play; gotta hide your liquor; food is standard: chicken/catfish nuggets, artichoke dip, bland, bland, bland! Of course, he may like bland, who knows?!
