I can't believe you read all that in a couple of sentences. You will feel stupid when Hootie commits to us before he even starts his senior year.

Wouldn't mind feeling stupid. Please bump this thread when that time comes.

Hopefully we end up with Hootie, Brown, and Ed Paris. That would be sick

If this is about whining Bo of Bama , then there have been multiple threads about it.

Besides these high school kids seem to think that on Bama-LSU game day, the coaches would spend valuable time ON THEM instead of the game and the ACTUAL PLAYERS?

They were given tickets - had folks assigned to show them around and given food. They would probably talk to the coaches on sunday (day after the game) What more did they expect - sitting in the room 2 hours before game planning with the coaches and players?

Hard to roll out the red carpet when there's 100 prospects on hand. If a kid is mad because of this, then he's selfish imo

If they want the red carpet treatment, pick a different game. That's on them for having unreasonable expectations.

Has to be one of the best recruiting tools right there.

Agreed.

I am not sure, but it seems to me that only recently (past couple of years) have we really seemed to bring back the LSU greats (recent and older) and have them on the sideline to watch games. Anyone know why this is??? Or I am wrong???

On the opposite side of this, why were others like Ingram let in?

Sure probably their guest, but we should restrict that IMO... should be all ex-LSU greats or recent grads (as long as they played for us I do not care).

I am happy we got to reschedule Willis and Goodman b/c of this.

I know nothing of their interest (I know they are quiet, so not sure if anyone really knows), but what DB wouldn't want to look at LSU.

Glad we get to get them on campus and give them attention.

They roll out the red carpet on officials. Was this kid on an official visit? If not, I don't see why you or your friends would think what happened is a issue considering the massive amount of recruits that we're at the game and, I'm sure, everything else going on on campus last weekend.

Agree, to hell with these primadonna kids. LSU/Bama weekend is a busy time for our coaches, excuse them if they dont have time to kiss some 17 year olds arse.

Ranter1: Tell us more
Ranter2: Wow ! Les screwed up as usual
Ranter3: Moron
Ranter4: So tell us

Poster : <I really can't say more but suffice it to say blah blah>

Keep biting it. I am now in the camp of some others with the attitude of you either want to be here or not.

We were so excited about RR and from day one he provided little leadership, no emotion, and upon leaving has been nothing but a nagging little ant.

If a recruit really thinks they are that special and cant appreciate a high dollar ticket and the experiences at what SVP has called the greatest event he has ever attended...well, they probably need to continue down the road if they dont change their attitude.

^^Truth.

If a recruit thinks that THEY should be the focal point of the weekend when we are playing the #1 team in the nation on the biggest stage in the biggest game of the year - honestly they can frick off. Especially if on an unofficial. Sit back, enjoy the free tickets and the atmosphere, and come back at a time when you can get quality time with the coaching staff.

Exactly. And if true the kid and whomever it is from Monroe that is guiding him through this process needs to get a freaking grip. His turn to get wined and dined is next year, we have football players left to sign in this class.

Actually I was told it was the best atmosphere he'd ever seen and he had a blast. Hootie as well. Was told they thought the SC game atmosphere was amazing and the Bama game was 10x better.
