How much should they be, typically, in the Baton Rouge or rural surrounding areas? Does 6.34% of the home's cost sound right?

Is origination a flat fee? Is the loan RD/FHA/VA? PMI required? That will influence "closing cost".

I haven't gone over the specifics yet, doing that tomorrow. I know it'll be FHA with PMI.
