I watched the game, and I rewatched the game. I saw LSU play their best game of the year and Alabama play their worst game of the year, and Alabama won. It's time to be honest, the Tide is a better program.

I don't agree with that. Y'all beat our asses up and down the field all night and we somehow kept you to only 17 points. Then we hit our stride at the absolute last second and somehow won.

And the opponent has nothing to do with how Bama plate in the game?

Alabama played the game that LSU let them play. They got handled physically. To use Bama's normal excuse after a loss, LSU beat themselves.

Furthermore, anyone who thinks these two programs are anything but equal is a fricking moron.

So you don't think that LSU had anything to do with Bama playing their worst game. Of course they played their worst game but we forced them to.

Maybe LSU just made Bama look human for once this year. And with how many starters not playing?

Does anyone else find it coincidental that Alabama has played their worst game of the season against LSU three years in a row (during the regular season obviously)?

As wonderful as a coach that Saban is, you think he would have his team ready to play LSU right?

Um ... did you see who they were playing against? If I recall correctly it was a team called LSU with one of the best defenses in the nation. I'm no football expert, but I'd bet LSU had something to do with Alabama playing its worst game of the year. The fact is Bama did everything it could to play its best game of the season—if it didn't succeed in this it's because of who they were playing last Saturday.

are you sure they played their worst, or did they finally play an equal foe?

...and thanks for stressing my point. LSU DID force Bama to play their worst game. They physically handled them, stopped their offense, beat their defense, and still Bama won the game.

On the flip side, The LSU offense, especially Mett, played far better than they had in any other game this year, and they were held to only 17 points.

No matter how you dice it up, this season, Bama is simply better than LSU.

I do think Alabama came out kind of sluggish at first. Then they dominated the 2nd quarter. That's where Miles lost the game in my opionion.

You do realize that perhaps the reason Bama played so poorly was because we are that good, or is that just not possible?

they have a better team right now, yes. but to say bama played it's worse without giving lsu credit is bull shite. we outplayed them and should have won that game. we are still improving as a team. to repeat for the umpteenth time...

LSU has 3 new OL
LSU has a new QB
LSU has a new secondary
LSU has a new linebacker corp

while you say that is indicative of bama having a better program, i say you are biased. we have equivalent programs. yes, right now saban is the better coach but not by much. each year, these two teams battle to the last second with pretty much equal results. bama won that game because we got too cute with trickernation and that damn screen pass was not defended properly. that defensive mistake really cost us the game because we had overcome the other mistakes. i say if you are such a bama lover go be one. tiger nation will survive.
