If you want to believe our defense played lights out, then do so. That wasn't our A game. Look at how we shut down the rushing attack of Georgia the week before and Florida the week after, yet we were gashed on the ground on 10/13.

You're giving too much credence to the SEC Championship game. I believe A&M will be much more difficult.

Go Ags!

Wtf is wrong with you? Bama plays a (as you call it) B- game for their biggest game of the year? Really?

I can't wait to see aTm O v Bama D. Should be a good match up. However I don't think they'll be able to stop bama O.

What would you call it then? Soft zone? Because it definitely wasn't the same D we played the first 28.5 minutes of the 2nd half.

Yeah, you really put the shackles on Florida's offense. Don't give me this "we shut down the rushing attack" shite. Bottom line: They beat the snot of you.

UGA matches up well with Bama. I think it's their only legit chance to lose outside of the bowl game. AM's defense is sketchy, and it's at home.

Well the first play we only rushed the four linemen, second play was a corner blitz, third was bump and run, and the fourth was pretty much an all out blitz, which is why the screen play to Yeldon worked so well.

Are you serious? Did you see all the mental mistakes and missed tackles? LSU's Defense did play a huge role in making the Alabama Offense look bad, but when you look again, you'll see that Alabama began to abandon the run. They essentially helped make themselves one-dimensional.

Did LSU force either of the lost Alabama fumbles? NO! Alabama was on your 10 yard line getting ready to stretch their lead to 17 or 21 to 10, but failed. Remember AJ McCarron overthrowing a wide open Amari Cooper on what would've been a touchdown? Sure LSU looked great in the second half but don't act like you didn't get Alabama help.

Johnny Football is (or should be) playing with an unbelievable amount of confidence right now.

And, given the fact that he can make things happen with his feet - something Mettenberger definitely cannot do - I'm looking forward to seeing if he can pick apart the Tide's defense.

I'll be one huge A&M fan Saturday.

McCarron is a great college QB. He underperformed all night but came through when he had to to win the game.

It would be a shame not to aware him the Heisman if he wins out.

The good news is that once he is gone, LSU will have the upper hand in a big way next year. Mett is going to be a great one.

First play - rushed 4 with a zone coverage
2nd - rushed 1 corner and dropped 2 DLs into another soft zone
3rd - brought 5 all DBs were 8-12 yards off the receivers
4th - incomplete pass
5th - brought 3 dropped 2 DL into zone. Mingo was late to cover yeldon TD

So yes this was prevent.

He threw a screen pass and he is a great QB now?

Can you at least acknowledge the quite large and semi-talented guys blocking in front of him?

Before the last drive, he was 1 for 9 in the 2nd half for zero yards.

Who in the hell is Mongo?

Mingo was not supposed to cover. It was Mills who probably missed an assignment and continued to blitz the QB.

On my phone. Mingo**

Looked like mingo dropping back off the line and shifting to cover yeldon.
