I know, we lost, and we should have won, and there is no moral victory, and Miles blew some calls, and maybe Chavis did too, and we aren't playing for the MNC for the 4th time in a decade. After the January game and the season up until now, my expectations had been revised downward.

But, I can say unequivocally, I have never been more proud of our team and have never been more pumped about what the future holds for my Tigers.

And Mett was a Baller, That is all.

I'm not a season ticket holder, but I was lucky enough to be treated to the game. The team and fans left everything in that stadium. I'm going back this weekend to say thanks to the team and to watch Mett ball it up some more.

We quit on the last offensive possession. Mett looked like JJ in the 2 min offense

The Tigers played lights out in that game. It was a great effort and this team is going to be just fine.

At the risk of sounding a bit old, I am pretty sure I was at the Earthquake game, I was about 8 years old.

Kevin Faulk and I were in the same district in HS, and I was fortunate to be a student when he and Dinardeaux brought back the magic with the AU win, followed by top 10 recognition, and the Florida smackdown in 1997. I remember having a class with Josh Reed, never dreaming that dude would blow up like he did.

I lived in the shadows of Neyland Stadium for a while, during the epic wins with Josh Reed and Rohan against the big Orange and now near Vandy, and I wear my P and G here in the Great State of Tennesseee proudly.

This loss was just brutal. To out play them so bad in the 2nd half only to let it slip away at the end is so heart breaking. But I was pleasantly surprised at the play of Mett and the entire offense. That's what makes me feel good about things today. I was expecting a repeat performance of the FL game on offense. Great game and much respect to Alabama for winning a game like that.

I was at the earthquake game. It was my senior year at LSU. I was in Tiger Band.

I was also lucky to have attended the 1997 UF game. I did a road trip to that game from Florida with a bunch of Gator fans. They didn't way a word to me all the way home.

Now there you go being reasonable and positive. You know that won't fly with a certain set here on the Rant.

Like Miles or not, we are well positioned as a program. He's blundered enough, but he's done a lot right too. Yeah Saban left him a goldmine, but Miles has not squandered it. It's not easy to stay at the top.

We could go head to head with any powerhouse in the country, right now. You name em, anyone.
Oklahoma, Oregon, SC, UT, etc.. All of these guys, BAMA included, will be targets once the playoff is implemented.

You can't win them all. This one hurts badly. However our guys now understand that Bama is not some God-like team. They are mortal. We are their equal.

We will continue I improve. The offense should have alot of confidence.

Spot on. Very proud of the team. Any of Miles "blunders" work and he becomes genius. Just let the kids play the damn game like they did Saturday night and we will win way more often than we lose and that includes Alabama. 90 seconds away from 2 regular season wins over the genius. They were damn damn lucky and don't think they don't know it.
