We didn't win but

we sure knocked bama out of the top defensive spot.
Total yards given up per game:
1st Fla. St. - 227.1
2nd bama - 228.9
3rd LSU - 255.3
Passing yards given up (total)
LSU 1358 yards (2nd)
bama 1463 yards (9th)
Rushing yards given up (total)
LSU 940 (12th)
bama 597 (2nd)
Now we don't have to hear about their "great" defense.

The only thing that bothers me about this game was the fact that coaches didn't use all 4 downs aggressively to get a first down and end the game. I don't mind losing but I hate conservative mentality.

Awe yes, the moral victory thread. Moral victories are for the SMU's of the world. Not LSU.
