I just bought 3 tickets to the Ole Miss game. Me and my wife have been several times, but I think its time my 4 year old daughter went. She loves to watch most of the game with us on the couch so Im thinking she'll be excited and interested in the stadium. Anyone else think its a good idea to bring a 4 year old to a game?

you probably won't make it past halftime with her .. so be prepared for that .. she'll be amazed by the lights and the sounds, but i would have something to keep her occupied if you want to see the second half .. she just enjoys being around mom and dad .. she isn't noticing the football game on TV .. you could be watching an old japanese monster movie and she would be there between the two of you ..

take lots of pics of her in tiger stadium while you guys are there ..

Bring a couple toys and coloring book or you'll be out by halftime.

Maybe bring some ear protection in case it's too loud. Several of my friends who went to the game Saturday said their ears were still ringing Sunday. (Granted Ole Miss =/= Bama, but still...)

Great to start taking her to LSU games - never too early! It's a 2:30 game, right, so she should stay awake - trips to the concession stand help with the entertainment, and she might like the band a lot more than the game (based on my childhood games) so don't plan to leave your seats at halftime. Have fun!

Yes. Start them early. I've never forgotten any of the games I went to as a child.

Do the whole thing also. Go to Pastime for lunch, take the bus. Go see Mike, put her on your shoulders while the band and the team walk down the field. It will be great.

I hope you know she will be chanting Geaux to Hell Ole Miss by the end of the first half.

You don't mind her hearing chants from large groups about performing oral sex on animals, do you?

Give her the talk about bad words, because she'll hear a bunch of them.

I think some fans, especially in the student section, will make you regret bringing her.

We have that talk regularly now. She's a smart kid. She stays on me about bad words.

Northwest side of the stadium. Maybe someone can come up with the section numbers.
