I am so very proud of this team. THB lost before the season, 3 guys academically ineligeable, Chris Faulk out for the year, Alfred blue out for the year, Alex hurst disappearing, and everyone else we lost due to suspension/injury I would say we have definitely over achieved this year and have done pretty awesome.

Remember after the florida game? Everyone was ready to self destruct, the offensive line in shambles no offensive production, fumbling, not being able to catch a ball.

This team has come a Long way. And we have done it with YOUNG players. We can't go to the NCG every year lets face it. And yes I know we could of beat Florida and Alabama but it just wasn't our year. Let's take out of this hurtful Alabama defeat what we have accomplished with our young players...an offensive identity. If we can continue improving this year and make a BCS bowl and stomp the shite out of some big 10 team, we will be sitting pretty to make another run at the ship next year which I honestly do believe we have a great shot with an incredible team of young players who all got incredible experience this year that will only benefit us in the future.

And plus saban will leave for Cleveland after this year.

Go tigers so proud of them boys

when the game ended I was thinking the same thing. in a way, the game really wasn't about this year....it was more of a statement about what is to come. we were aggressive, we executed, we took chances, we left nothing on the table. if bama gets beat by atm next saturday it will be in large part because of what we did to them last nite. do the words "Ali-Frazier" ring a bell?

Had you left this line out, this would have been a very quality post. But otherwise, I agree.

Hahaha it may be a stretch, but come on cleveland is gonna need a new coach after this year and after the '95 season you know saban wants to redeem the franchise and immortalize himself as a god in cleveland

Saban is gonna be forced to pull a Pete Carroll and go to the pros to outrun the NCAA sanctions once the news breaks on how much he cheats in the recruiting process.

Still don't know see why he would bolt for the pros when he has already tested the waters.

It doesn't get much better than the position he's in now.

These young men played their hearts out, and left it all on the field. I have never been more proud to be a TIGER fan. GEAUX TIGERS
