I was there last night. And it was the definition of deafening. It was alive. It was a living, breathing beast.

How does last night compare to games like '07 and '97 Florida? Because I find it hard to believe that any stadium has ever been as loud as Death Valley was last night.

Even though it was an L, it was an amazing night.

Tiger stadium was indeed a beast last night. I still think Florida 07 has it beat. Been to damn near every home game in TS since 2000 and nothing compares to that game. I think it topped UGA 03 though. There was a break in the noise in this game. Place was pretty quiet for Bama's first drive after halftime. I'll never forget walking into the mens bathroom at half. You could hear a pin drop. No one was talking at all. I was kinda shocked that an 11 pt halftime deficit could produce such negativity. I'm glad the locker room wasn't like this (speculating).

It sounded seriously consistently loud on TV. More so than any game in the few years has even come close to.

Amazing that Bama had 0 illegal procedure penalties.

We even cheered like crazy during breaks, with the "Geaux Tigers" chant and "L-S-U" chant

07 Florida had louder moments (USC score announcement, final TD)

But I've never heard SUSTAINED noise for that period of time ever.

As a disclaimer, I wasn't at 97 Florida

I was at Florida 97 as well as UGA 03 and Florida 07. The only game that was as loud as last night was Florida 07.

My brother got lucky and got a lower level ticket in the Alabama section and he said it was ridiculously loud.

Everyone should get the opportunity to experience Death Valley on a Saturday night like it was last night in their lifetime. shite was incredible. The Bama fans walking out of the stadium had nothing but mad props to the beast that was Tiget Stadium.

IMO, the second half was louder than ever in TS, more than 07 FL.

Just my opinion but I've been to all of the big home games since the late '60s and last night was the loudest I've ever experienced...Landry's TD grab rivaled the USC score announcement during the Florida game in '07...again, in my opinion.

UF '07 and this game are neck and neck IMO. It's a shame we couldn't come away with a win, but the environment was unbelievable

I've been to every stadium in the SEC and many in the Big 12 and last night was by far the loudest I have ever heard. We were having to scream at each other on the field so we could hear each other.

Y'all did well...

'07 Florida was louder, but barely. So much was going on in that game and so much was on the line...it was incredible.

Last night was damn close and it was sustained for most of the game.

At times it was as loud as ever. Overall, 2007 beats last night. #1 all time .....USC in '79. I've been going since a kid in '67.
