Fairhope Gumps Are Awfully Testy

A report from behind enemy lines...
Went to the store this morning to get game day provisions.
I never wear LSU stuff here in Alabama. This morning I decided to wear my faded white Louisiana State University cap. I thought it was innocuous.
Two grandmothers, the checkout girl and the store manager all harassed me with some sort of snide comment about my Tigers.
I regret not being able to be inside the spaceship tonight. I will be there in spirit.
Likely Jack Daniels honey.

used to live in Daphne for 15 years before we moved to memphis 3 years ago. Played ball with TJ Yeldon ever since middle school. Great person and great player. Lake forest was a great place to live in, but heard some bad news about it as of lately. As for the fan in Fairhope, love that area, Miss my visits to the grand hotel, and lunch at the fly creek cafe!
