Best way to the game from Gonzales

Heading out around 8 AM tomorrow. Staying in Gonzales. What is the best plan for parking/walking/cab to get to around the stadium. I don't mind paying for parking. Just looking for some good suggestions on where to leave the truck and catch a cab and or walk.

Just come up Highway 30 (Nicholson) and into the campus. Find a place to park near golf course or further into campus if you want to pay $40....should not be a problem at that time.....
