So headed to see parents tomorrow in Brossaurd looking to stop somewhere along the way and pick up some boudin, boiled peanuts, etc.

Any must try places, I think I have seen something about a place in Scott? Talk to me..

Best Stop and Don's in Scott. Exit 97. Dons is just south of the interstate and Best Stop is about a mile north.

So many options.

Billeauds Meats in Broussard is one of my favorites, and would be super convenient for you.

The Best Stop and Don's are in Scott off of exit 97. Both are good IMO.

Also Johnson's in Lafayette is another of my favorites.

You can't go wrong with any of those.

I get those party links from Comeauxs in Breaux Bridge, boil them in some crab boil water then toss on grill. They're awesome. I guess anyone can make the party links, but they are perfect for a party.

Within 5 minutes north of it. There are signs leading you there. You won't be disappointed

Billy's, on the other side of the overpass from Don's, has some killer boudin balls stuffed with pepper-jack cheese. Every time I'm in the area I stop and get some. I think they have the best cracklin in the area as well, always a bunch of big pieces and well seasoned. They're my new go to in the Lafayette area.

Poche's is definitely worth a stop. Their boudin, boudin balls, and cracklin are all good.

The Best Stop received a lot of hype for being the "best" -- I personally think it's overrated.

Poche's in Breaux Bridge is one of my absolute favorites. Babineaux's Slaughterhouse is also in Breaux Bridge and they're one of the few places that still sells red boudin. Not sure where you're driving from, but I also love the smoked boudin from Bergeron's in Port Allen. Nunu's is good.

The Mowata Store and T-Jims in Cottonport are both great as well, but not in the area you'll be going, I don't think.

As far as cracklins go, my favorite come from Chops in Broussard.

Where in Brossaurd?

My favorite, too. It's in what used to be the center of town in Broussard before it exploded in growth. 111 E. Main Street.
