Tailgating at old alex box lot?

I have a parking pass for Saturday in the Old Alex Box lot and was wondering how was the tailgating there? Would i be able to set up my own tailgate there? Never parked there...

Reserved sport or not?
If reserved it also depends on numbered spots.
Have 2 parking passes there, but don't tailgate cause of lack of space. But absolutely awesome how close to stadium they are

Parking pass says Alex Box East then below 73...guessing that's the space?? Just wondering if it would be smarter to go to friends tailgate or not

Alex box east is not the old alex box lot...it is the parking lot around the current alex box stadium closest to nicholson...you enter through gourrier...nice, family oriented tailgating area with access to bathrooms in alex box...spaces there are not reserved...
if you want a laid back, relaxing tailgate expierence, then tailgate in alex box east....if you want heavier partying with loud music, etc. then tailgate with friends somewhere else....

We had a great time there 2007 Florida I think , I know it was Gaters as I grilld gator sausage and served it to them.:)
Lots of space to your self and even under shade of the big oak tree, but warning you can't get out of there easy ,it took like til 11:00 PM for the traffic to let us out. It is a little one way street that goes by there. Hard to get to , leave 2 hours before you want to be there. I would go at 10:30 AM. At least. We were staying at the Laquita and it took 2 hours to get there as we left at 11:30.

Exit Nicholson off the Miss River bridge and hit River Road and come in the back way. Nicholson is a shite show on gamedays.

Thanks...we plan on getting there in time for gameday so hopefully it won't be to bad just wasn't sure since i usually park on the other side of campus
