With all the momentum, JJ has created with BB...future schedule changes?

Will we see more competitive teams come to play at the Deaf Dome or will we start playing more name schools on the road? In basketball, there isn't any concern that your team will have season crippling injuries from playing good teams. I would have to believe that JJ will try to get some nationally televised games. It really would help make the program more visible to national recruits.

We've had some decent matchups in recent years, but a bunch of crappy games surrounding them.

I haven't seen a BB game on TV in Dallas since.......who the hell remembers...

I could definitely see it happening. Nothing he could do with the schedule this year. Most of it was set already.

We need to start slow to give the young talent confidence. Then step it up a bit or we will struggle in the SEC. Need to play quality opponents!

Playing quality non conference foes will prepare us better for the SEC. Not to say we have any one-n-done guys, but there is no time like the present. IMO, u take your lumps in the non conference games, hoping that it will improve you quicker for conference play. Think about how the Oregon game improved our play last season. Plus you will get a lot more fans in the Dome if you are playing Duke than if you play Texas Southern.
