What lesson were they supposed to learn? They gave up little to get him, it didnt work out and they cut him. They went to the Superbowl. Wow what a terrible punishment

I wouldn't really say he's close to elite. Good for sure. Near elite is a stretch though. I didn't see that whenever I would watch him playing the Saints.

Closer to Elite than the Pats have had since Ty law and Asante left
I like him and DMac as a CB tandem. And if there continues to be injuries at safetys, we can move Devin to safety and not be completely fricked at corner (Although Dennard has done a nice job so far but hes much better at nickel). Pats Already have a top front 7 in the league, take away the big pass Plays and its a pretty damn good defense
This deffinitly makes the Sterling Moore cut make more sense.
