QB. If McCarron goes down, they are at best even with LSU. LSU might even have a slight advantage in that case.

So, our defense has to disrupt McCarron - something no one has done. And/or Mett has to have a great game. Actually, the offense just needs to make some big plays and lots of first downs.

i know this is stating the obvious, but that's the only real difference between these teams.

Nope. They are much more disciplined.. less penalties etc. Most would argue they are coached better as well.

Not really.

But ... it is a major one.

Our defense will disrupt McCarron all night long. Our defense is elite. This game is going to come down to the 4th quarter and who can make a big play when it counts. ala Rueben Randel in 2010 and the 4th and 1 reverse to Deangelo Pederson

I honestly believe their corners are much better than ours. People have been touting Mills a lot on this board but he seems pretty mediocre so far. The good thing is the refs have been letting him play and letting him get away with a lot of contact down field.

I wish we could have saved the pitch to Ford from the Warecat formation for the bama game. I thought about the peterson reverse when we ran that play.

I wish I could disagree with you, but I can't. However, like any other team, Bama can have a bad day, and LSU might, finally, play up to its potential, on both sides of the ball, for 60 minutes. I really don't like saying "Bama can have a bad day" because that could imply they might beat themselves, rather than LSU causing them to have a bad day.

Man that play was frickin sweet...reminded me of the same thing.

How about a pitch to Ford from the Warecat with Ford pitching off to Shepard on a reverse???
