Going to see this on Sat.. Anyone see it yet? I have heard mixed reviews and was told not to waste money going to 3D but OT Ballers don't worry about cost

I liked it. The plot stayed as true to the game (based on 3rd game and not the 2nd) as you could expect, while still meshing well with the story from the first movie. I wished it would have been longer. It seemed rushed at times, scenes moved way too fast and there wasn't much character development. As for the 3D, I thought they did a good job and is worth the extra few bucks. Overall, if you enjoyed the first movie and/or the games you will probably enjoy this one.

Did Paris Hilton get a spear through her head while she was half naked again? I think even if that scene didnt tie into the plot, they should still do it.

More jump scares and less atmosphere than the first one. You could tell it was done on a smaller budget. Some of the 3D effects were pretty good, particularly the fog in town. If you enjoyed the first one and/or the games, it's worth checking out. If you thought the first movie was a POS, almost guaranteed you'll hate this one too.
