*LSU needs to score first
*LSU needs to win/tie turnover battle
*LSU's offense needs to convert 35%-40% on third down
*Wing needs to have a better night than Bama's punter

I think all of the above can happen pretty easily except for the 3rd down conversion. I think that is what will determine the outcome of the game. For LSU to win, player of the game will be Michael Ford. Bama has a hard time with stopping sweeps. That will then open up the middle for Jeremy Hill. If we cannot convert 3rd downs, we are fricked.

I think the coaching staff has the goal-setting part down already.

I think we would need to win the TO battle, but generally agree

I agree with all. Except the turnovers. LSU needs ot have 0 and force at least 2.

this is by far the most difficult of the 4. I would be ecstatic if we had that high of a 3rd down conversion percentage

Let's just hope Les doesn't call the sweeps to the short side of the field.......over and over and over and over......

AND OVER......

1. must win the line of scrimmage battle on both sides of the ball

2. must be more physical

3rd down conversion and TO margin is most important for every football team. Other than that, most important thing for us is receivers catching the ball.

Agree with all, but most importantly we need to score 1 point more than them.

LSU can win just like it did last year with a few turnovers and protecting the ball.

Also will not hurt if McCarron doesn't finish the game.

My 4
No turn overs
50 yards or less in penalty yrds
Make life miserable for qb 10 all night
Mett complete 60% at least

LSU wins.

I think LSU can win playing the same game it did vs USCe, with no turnovers.

LSU doesn't need an offensive explosion. I still think 15 pts by either side will win this thing.

My 4

Cross the 50 on our 1st possession
Stop them from scoring on their 1st
Wing has to pin them inside the 10
Mett must not have more than 2 sacks

Keeping the crowd in it is a big key
