and Blatche is a formidable backup. I like their team.

Yep. Blatche is 2 seasons removed from 18/9 or something like that. He will benefit from playing with some vets.

Why?

Because they have one of if not the most balanced rosters in the NBA. Its just a matter of them staying healthy and developing chemistry

allow me to quote you from a few days ago on HT...

quote:

The starting 5 of the Nets are pretty sick. It's a veteran laden bunch and Deron Williams should have them clicking on all cylinders. Not to mention they have a top notch coaching staff led by Avery Johnson, along with PJ Carl and Mario Elie.

As for the bench, Marshon Brooks would start on the majority of NBA teams.

Blatche is 2 years removed from averaging 17/8 and is only 25. He will benefit immensely from playing with actual veterans and not under the circus tent in Washington.

Childress, Evans, Bogans, Watkins are regarded as some of the best bench guys in the league.

This team will be very good.

and i totally agree with all of that. the nets are going to be damn good.

Don't forget CJ Watson who has probable been the 2nd best backup PG in the NBA over the past 2 years

BK!

Hopefully they won't suck as much as the Nets did, but they hype maybe too much to start.

They're literally 2 games outside the 4th seed. Not sure what's so inaccurate so far.

They're a .500 ballclub after going 3-10 this month. They went 11-4 to start the year, and are only 2 games out of the 4 seed, and would still be in the playoffs right now.

But solid bump, I guess

I hope the rebrand/new city/new building is as big a failure as the Marlins.

They're a huge mix of guys who don't fit. Joe Johnson sucks this year. D-Will is fat and declining by the year.

Can't wait to see them continue to fall. It's even funnier to see all the Knicks fans take over that arena when they play there.

The Knicks will always be the main shower in NYC and the Nets will just be little brother.
