There are several teams with more than 1 max money guy who didnt even make a run.

that has no relation to what i said

to win in the NBA today, you need 3 guys who are/will be "max" players

Miami: lebron/wade/bosh
Lakers: kobe/howard/gasol/nash
OKC; Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka/Martin
SA: Duncan/Ginobili/Parker
BOS: Garnett/Pierce/Rondo

i think he means more in terms of a guy with "max money talent" than a guy that makes "max money".

not all are created equal

yeah i'm not saying that just b/c you have guys making the max, you're a contender. but to be a contender, you need that sort of talent

Or be Denver who many advanced guys have as the No.1 seed or at least the NW champ.

the only big name they have is Iggy and he's not a #1 option. So my question to is you do you not see them as contenders, nor Chicago(last season) with a healthy Rose?

Will this be this year's "Reggie Bush is a pro-bowler" thread?

they're an outlier. they had 2 (dirk, chandler) and a lot of depth b/c they had a huge arse payroll

terry, marion, haywood, etc weren't exactly cheap

terry playing out of his mind in the finals, as well a lebron pulling the weirdest shite i've ever seen by a superstar in the finals, helped

it's possible, but pretty rare. the pistons arguably only had 2 "max" guys the year they won it (billups, wallace) also

Harden is a ball dominant guard but he is so good. He was efficient in a limited role and now has free reign over that Houston team. He has a high bball IQ, can get to the rim whenever he wants, creates for his teamates(still can't believe someone said this), and is definitely a guy who plays like a Max player. I am a Hornets Fan but I have always been a big fan of his. His game is like poetry in motion.
