This offseason we should cut all the young guys with potential on our team after a season without a HC and a new DC and suspensions to team leaders and the LB coach. Great idea.

Patrick Robinson showed 0 effort and did not even attempt to tackle. It was dreadful to watch, really. Not saying the rest of the D really showed much effort either, but 21 stuck out like a sore thumb acting like he was Deion Sanders on run plays.

Oh so I say robinson needs to go and everyone bashes me yet when people say that harper needs to go, everyone goes on that train, directed at who is bashing this thread. Also, the scheme spags runs is DB friendly yet I keep seeing robinson on the back end of deep passes as well as missing tackles left and right. It is his third year in the league, if he cannot develop some type of coverage skill by now, I highly doubt it happens in the future. Do not even bring the whole "off-season turmoil" junk into this, when a team has time to dive into a scheme and has ALL off-season to learn it and FIVE preseason games to get it right, there is no excuse for how they are playing. I would have completely bashed Vilma if this were the case. He is not getting any better and he thinks he is something that he is not, he is not needed on this team.

No Will Smith and Sed Ellis need to go...get some QB pressure and Greer and Patrick and maybe even White are being called the best CB tandem in the NFC South

stfu. Thomas beat him 1 on 1 all night long. anytime he had a chance to make a tackle at the line of scrimmage, he tried to spear the ball carriers ankles.

Bobby pointed this out several times, and I know hes slightly off, but he usually points out good stuff when it comes to X's and O's.
Our safety play is a bigger contributor to the poor corner play than the skill of our CB's. Certain plays you see where the CB has the correct position but the safety does not result in big plays. Harper is always going to be a liability in coverage. (That being said, he really hasn't played that poorly in coverage, compared to last year.) Jenkins is lost. Period. I seriously think they should move him back to corner and let Quadus (sp) play safety. Jason David, err I mean Corey White, has no business playing cornerback in the NFL.

I'm sorry, but PRob was beat all night and unless you were there, you really can't tell what coverage they were in. Cover 3, cover 2, man to man. It doesn't matter, he didn't cover shite.
