He's going to bring everything we have. He knows what this game means and is far too smart a coach to rely on what clearly has not worked offensively. Expect trick plays, new looks and everything in between.

This game will be won by LSU and I will remember it as the kitchen sink game.

Hope he hits Saban in the head with it and knocks him out for the duration of the game.

He thought what we had would work on 1/9. It didn't. Let's move on.

The most interesting man in the world doesn't wash dishes. He uses paper everything.

I believe he will open of the offense for the first or second drive, then it will go back to the same plan he is comfortable with.

We will have to hope Mett connects on one of those long passes, because it will be a long arse day for our offense.

I agree. After the Florida game there was so much talk about trying something different. Then he comes out with the Warecat. Then everyone bitches about how we never throw it and Mett comes out slinging it 29 times at aTm trying about 6 or 7 deep routes.
I expect there to be a wrinkle or two, no doubt about it.

So the NC game wasn't important?

I wonder if we see more wildcat - if what we saw at A&M was fine-tuning that option.

The problem for us is we have lots of stoppers in the sink and no QB to unclog the drain.

First drive will have us intrigued then we go back to super duper conservative play. The only surprises will come if we get down a bunch

I hate when everyone simply thinks the qb is the problem.
Our O-line has a very hard time with pass blocking, so we are very limited on what kind of pass plays we can call and what is called can usually be no more than 2 receivers out at a time. Everyone else has to block so Mett doesn't get killed.
Then there is that minor issue of dropped passes.

Stupid post is stupid.

Miles went with the gameplan that beat bama on the road a couple months before...tough to blame him for that. Blame him for not making in-game adjustments, but the fact is be beat Saban in his own house with that very game plan. Also credit Saban for having on hell of an offense dialed up.

As for 11/3....none of that matters.

All the pressure is on Alabama right now. They are the ones who are undefeated, sitting at #1. I believe Chavis will bring at least 5 rushers on almost every down and we will see a lot of 3-man fronts when Bama spread us out. But the pressure from the blitz will be key. We can't allow AJ to have time to throw those deep outs and corner routes because he has proven that he can hit them with consistancy.

Offensively, we have to pass on 1st down and we must establish some kind of running game. Passing it 29 times won't be the key. Moving chains to get field position will be. And passing the ball between the two high safeties will be what deteremines our success.
