NFL Network's Albert Breer reports Aaron Hernandez (ankle) did not travel with the Patriots to London for Week 8 versus the Rams. This is why the Patriots are so hard to read. Hernandez was on the same practice pattern as last week, but this time around Thursday's absence appears to have been a setback as opposed to a day of rest. Fantasy owners counting on Hernandez will have to hit the waiver wire in search of a tight end. New Redskins starter Logan Paulsen may be worth a look in deeper leagues. Coby Fleener, Lance Kendricks and Anthony Fasano have three of the best matchups among tight ends this week

Update: Sounds like Hernandez situation is NOT injury related....could be a new Dad. Congrats to him!

Good, just traded Eli, Graham and Rashad Jennings for him and Peyton.

Why would you do that in the first place?

Because Peyton is easily a top 5 QB the rest of the way and the drop off from Graham to Hernandez is not that significant.

You serious?

Jennings doesn't crack my lineup. So take that out. M

Peyton will probably average 20 points the rest of the way (and that's me being lenient, look at the schedule. Hardest matchup is at Cincinnati)

Eli will probably average 15 or 16.

Graham will average 12 and Hernandez around 10.

That's an upgrade.

Although Aaron Hernandez didn't travel overseas with the team, he's still not being ruled out for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. Hernandez was missing from the New England Patriots walkthrough practice on Friday and it was confirmed that the tight end did not travel to London with the team, but it is now being reported by Chris Wesseling of Rotoworld.com via Twitter and ESPNBoston's Patriots reporter Mike Reiss that Hernandez "was expecting to be a new dad" in the coming days and could still be on the way to England this weekend.

ETA: It just says that he did not travel with the team. Take it for what it's worth.

Would you like to make a friendly wager?

From this point forward to week 16, I'll take Peyton and Hernandez and you can have Eli & Graham?

Just for shits and giggles?

Oh, in a standard scoring format.

I think wiseguy might have a point. Jennings is nothing so it's a pretty fair trade.
