Hurricane Sandy...does it affect the election?

With Hurricane Sandy forecast to possibly hit the upper NE coast around Tuesday, does anyone see this as a net + or - for either candidate?

IMO, I can see Obama using the Hurricane damage as prime photo op and trying to garner more emotional support from some of the electorate!

Snow is probably the biggest problem winds at landfall are expected under hurricane strength. Unless it is a Issac type storm I would expect little carry over...

Jeez. Possible hurricane on the east coast on election day, possible hurricane at the RNC in Florida and a big pack of rats at the DNC in NC.

God ain't happy.

yeah, I am aware of this but a week before is enough time to affect an election! Especially if people go without electricity for some time.

Everyone knows that democrats are lazier on average. Rain, hurricanes, job applications, etc. all cause them to stay home.

If it comes in south of me, I'm going to get pounded with rain and wind. If it comes in NY to Cape Cod area, I'm going to get killed with snow. Luckly, the last of the leaves have just about fallen.
