Just got DirectTV, so now have Showtime and am able to go back and watch Homeland for the first time.
Just finished episode 4 of season 1. Obviously, I love it. Has me sitting on the edge of my seat non-stop.
Without any spoilers, where does this go from here? Is the whole story based on Brody vs. Carrie Matthison, or does it branch off beyond that at the end of season 1 and into season 2?
I'm certain I'll love it either way. It's got the smarts of a Breaking Bad with the feel of a 24. And sorry I'm late to the party..

It's pretty much one continuous story about Brody and Carrie.

Enjoyable though, I assume? I figured the show would eventually branch out to different story lines with that as the central theme from the start, but perhaps that happens beyond season 2.

He gave you a very simplistic answer.
Keep watching. That is all you need to know

Extremely enjoyable.
Best show on TV in my opinion. Claire Danes is a remarkable actress.

Trust me, you don't want us telling you anything about the series. The show's appeal and success is driven by the anticipation of viewers and their desire to know what happens next. That is the show's genius, not to mention superior acting. Enjoy. If I could capture the same feeling of watching for the first time again I would in a heartbeat.

Just know that it stays good and keep watching. The less you know the better.

Just keep chugging along - you don't want to know what happens or where it goes.
Just be along for the ride.

someone should post how season 1 ends just to spoil it for the poster that started the thread looking for spoilers.
