What socks do y'all wear with insulated boots?

My feets sweat a lot when I'm mobile. I use some thin, silky socks under thicker wool socks but it doesn't work that great anymore.

Works pretty great. Old timers at the camp thought of that. I don't own anything insulated

I usually wear skiing socks in my insulated waders, sometimes two pairs, but no matter what my feet are always cold.

After many years of wearing thick socks, I've learned that thinner is better. so usually wear dress socks or thin snowboard socks.

Under Armour Ski socks. They work pretty good and are long which I really like

I second this. Work great in my Mucks and insulated neoprene waders. I've come to accept the fact that when wearing insulated boots, my feet are going to sweat. It's just more comfortable sweating in thin socks than wool mittens.

you can wear heavy socks if you put a light coat of anti-persperant deoderant on the bottom and top of your feet... keeps my feet from sweating

I wear LaCrosse neoprene/rubber boots unless it is going to be below 25deg or so. Generally, I will go with a pair of thin dress socks under a regular pair of wool. If I am in my insulated boots, I wear a single pair of ski socks or I will sweat myself dehydrated through my feet.

Which is your current problem: do your feet sweat too much or are they too cold? Of course, if they sweat to much that could make them too cold......
