And win by 8+ points in Tiger Stadium and the LSU offense and play calling is similar to what's been on display this season, what would be your opinion about the state of and likely future of our program?

Same thing I have thought for the past year or so. These are special times, but 9-3/ 8-4 are the new norm. Miles isn't changing his philosophy and he isn't going anywhere. The rest of the league has caught up and improved while LSU has remained the same. Luck can only take you so far.
I hope I am dead wrong, but I have seen nothing since Arkansas last season to lead me to believe otherwise.

LSU just went 13 - 0, won the SEC, played in the national championship and you think 9&3 is the new norm?
LSU lost on the road to UF...
This place is maddening

It bothers me that this rings true. 13-0 in any other year would be awesome. But it was topped off with a prairie biscuit instead of a cherry.

disaster, but then again, we've been going through a disaster for the past 8 years and it will only continue because the administration and the bigwigs enjoy mediocrity....we're basically Colorado in purple and gold...

I would say that is what I expected, and wait for Miles to make changes in the offseason. If he wouldn't then I would begin to worry.

Wouldn't change a damn bit. I almost expect it as a matter of fact. After that we will win out and crush someone in a bowl game.
Then next year we will roll through an undefeated season followed by a national championship.

We are 7-1 and the #6 team in the country!!!! You have unrealistic expectations. Mediocrity? give me a break! Go re-watch the Dinardo days that was mediocrity.

It'll still be LSU and most of us'll still be fans.

Let me start out by saying I'm a positiger.
I don't want to say I'm scared of aTm but I think they will be in west race in the near future. They'll start pulling in big recruits from Texas that will give them talent equal to ours.
Auburn will make a coaching change and their record should improve. Arky will likely go after Gus Mahlzan. Plus we're stuck with Florida every year.
LSU has their work cut out for them with tougher schedules then the rest of the west. Next few years will be rough but we're bringing in top notch talent.
Les has some shuffling to do with the offensive staff IMO. It won't be getting any easier in the west.

It's going to happen! We will just fire studrawa even though its miles goddam shitty gameplan. I have seen less than 5 great play calls. The ware pitch to ford was special but that needs to be far more frequent !

So Miles is the problem? Gimme a break! Saban isn't coming back get over it!!
