Anyione listen? I usually do not however it just happend to be on while i was driving.

When asked why Wrs cannot create separation.

Brown went on to say:
That WRs in college are not taught the fundamentals of route running. He said with colleges he works with most coaches do not have the basic fundamental experience to teach proper route running. That the college WRs are supposed to rely upon ability to create the separation rather than the route. Brown said all he worked on was routes and he went on to say it was the reason Calvin Johnson took time to develop once he reached the league.

He is right. The best route runners can make every route look the same. So even when you're running a 9 route , it looks the same as a 3 route. You want every route to look the same so you don't tip your hand.

It took time for Calvin Johnson to have a QB worth a damn.

No kidding. And, when they drafted him, he kept getting hurt. Poor Calvin.

Tim Brown was an athletically gifted and intelligent football player.

Complete package, really.
