2/3 of the way through the season, who would be your Heisman finalists?

Pretty weak year overall.

The Kleinapple Express is the clear-cut favorite after Geno Smith's last 2 games, but who would join him in NYC?

Right now I think it would be Klein, Terrance Williams, Montee Ball (coming on strong), Geno Smith (still getting an invite, if he plays like he did in the first 6 games), and that guy from Bama with the stupid tattoos and the slutty-looking mom.

Maybe the weakest class since the year Charlie Ward beat out Heath Shuler and David Palmer.

How is it weak? With the way Klein is playing he would be the favorite any year.

No he wouldn't. He wouldn't beat RG3, Cam, Bradford, Tebow, Reggie Bush, or Matt Leinart. That's just in the last 8 years.

It's weak because Klein is the only guy having an outstanding season.

DeAnthony Thomas is basically doing similar stuff to what Percy Harvin did at UF except against weaker opposition and Harvin was never a finalist. Ball was much better last year. Smith is clearly putting up inflated numbers as a system QB, Barkley was better last year, McCarron is your typical "QB on a top team putting up good stats", etc.

Don't really see Thomas in it at this point. He's been silent for 4 weeks straight.

Forgetting Teo from Notre Dame. If they continue to win he's going to get some serious consideration

His stats in conference games have been rather horrible.

I still think if Barkley gets an invite then Lee and Woods should get an invite. Those two are what really make USC's offense go.

Eh..... They've been keying on him (opens it up for others) and he only touches the ball ten times a game to begin with. Kenjon Barner should be on the list before DAT IMO anyway.

Eta.... Klein is obviously the favorite IMO. Just hope he loses a game.

He has no business being mentioned in this thread or in a discussion about the Heisman.

You're kidding, right? He's put up insane numbers and his team is undefeated.

He probably wasn't mentioned because he was carted off the field yesterday.

No I'm not. He's completing less than 60% of his passes, isn't even in the top 50 in the nation in passing efficiency, and he's racked up his best numbers against absolute shite competition.
