Is Vitt Now Officially the Coach?

6 games over..Does he coach now - like immediately can address the team?
Last year at this point the Saints were 4-2 and lost this exact game (game 6) to the Bucs 20-26.
I totally forgot the Saints were 5-3 after 8 last year..If we are 4-4 we are only 1 game off...

I can't imagine that the NFL would say, you can coach the next game but you can't coach the practices with the team leading up to the game. I'd say, yes, he now is the HC for the rest of the season.

As soon as the game was over Vitt was back in as the head coach.
