Friday night we went to 2 different bars....drinks were cheap and tons of Tiger fans...always a fun time bar hopping on a roadtrip

all the Aggie fans were real nice...a little too nice actually...I think they were scared to talk shite to us...honestly

also, for an 11am game, the tailgating was about as packed as I've ever seen it at any college football game....granted I didn't tour the campus but the area we were in was loaded with gaters..very impressed with that...overall, a great experience I would definitely go back. the only thing that sucked were our seats in the upper deck endzone...good Lord I felt like I was in BDS

Pretty much agree. They are a strange group, but very hospitable for the most part.

Really friendly, good tailgating, got a few free PBR's and played thunderstruck. Good group and nice trip

Agree completely. Nice campus with nice people. College Station was nice as well. We went to the Yell practice, visited the Bonfire Memorial and watched the cadets parade through campus and visited their bars. All impressive!

I know it's common on the board to criticize the Aggies, but I saw nothing worth criticizing someone over at all except for the LSU fans throwing have ful water bottles off the upper deck and into the Aggies sitting below. I don't think disagreeing with a call should warrant throwing objects at the people sitting below you!

I enjoyed CS also.

Kyle field is terrible though. Sat in section 149 (behind the band) and our seats were 15 yards behind the back of the end zone and were faced straight toward the stands in front of us (not curved).

Also idk of it was because of the early kickoff. But Kyle field was as quiet a stadium as I've heard.

They kill you with kindness. Definitely comes close to being annoying.

Also after attending my first game at Kyle Field. The A&M cheers and fans are just weird during the game. At times you could just see all the LSU fans just thinking WTF is all this shite.

The trip was very fun overall though.

I was with a very rowdy group. Sat right behind the Aggie ROTC's on the fourth row on the 20 yard line one section over from TGBFTL. If we would've been in any other SEC stadium we probably would've been asked to leave. What can I say? Welcome to the SEC Aggies.

To be fair most of the Aggies thought it was funny and were good sports. But yeah, their fans are going to need to develop some "game" or they are gonna get crushed in the fandom department.

That poor yell leader who was in front of us caught Holy Hell, but I'm pretty sure he's heard it all before. And it wasn't me it was the other guys. I was simply trying to imitate the moves. It looked like some sort of dance people on Ecstasy in the '80's used to do.

Seriously though some of those ROTC guys looked rather bashful performing those cheer moves. But again, I'm sure they've been catching hell for years and are conditioned to it. But it's still odd and funny as hell.

We had a real good time!

I also thought it was cool that they let all the fans out on the field after the game. My kids had fun going down on the field and throwing footballs and running around with all of the other kids. Must have been 300 footballs being thrown around, had to keep your head on a swivel to keep from taking one to the face

As regards the Stadium itself, where we were on the fourth row in section 147 it took until the end of the first quarter for everyone to get to their seats. It was ridiculous.

Going for concessions at the start of halftime was also ridiculous. Was that the only concession stand in the stadium? Geez! It took until the end of the third quarter to make it back to our seats! Aggie fans said it is always like that. Why was I not surprised? Well it IS Texas A&M...

Why have 3 separate stand sections? why not build a bowl like a real stadium? If they had filled in the corners instead of putting people in the clouds it would be a much more awesome atmosphere and the noise would be off the charts.

And it just doesn't look like it holds 87,000. The high school stands in the open end makes it look rinky-dink.

The parking sucked. Parking in neighborhoods when there was acres and acres of land near the stadium that could be used for parking was rather lame.

Was very impressed w/ the amount of Aggies who hung around & partied after the game. Props for not bein sore losers.

Only ran into 1 shitty group of Aggies, & one of them was a ex-Aggie/NFL lineman. Obviously still roided up.

Weird. It sounded loud all the way through the game watching it at home.

We asked an a&m fan after the game if he could point us towards the bars. Not only did he walk us there, but he bought us all shots. Everyone extremely nice, almost in a creepy way. All in all great fans with great tradition, just gonna take a little time getting used to them compared to the rest of the fanbases in the SEC

A pic of bonfire memorial at dusk. Really well done. You can just start to see the lighting. Met an aggie and his young son while we were there. He was in school at the time and lost a friend in the collapse.

I thought it was very loud in the stadium for the first half. They would start the noise when the tigers were still in the huddle and kept it going.

On another note:
They could make some improvements on the stadium... too few entrance gates (cluster F getting in and out of the stadium ). And once you are in the restrooms, you are completely cut off from the game... Couldn't hear the announcer at all...
