No matter how unsettling it was to hear them, his comments were true, and I don't think he hates LSU. We have less than two weeks to find a consistently effective passing attack or ...

5 years> 2 weeks so maybe it's time to stop hoping and start looking at the facts.

We haven't had an effective passing attack vs Bama since 2007 and still manage to split the games with them. I don't expect anything much different in two weeks. We just have to be near flawless in every other aspect.

Sure, LSU needs a better passing game. But what that nincompoop doesn't understand is that LSU has won two NCs, and played for a third with an undefeated season, with nothing more than an effective passing game AT BEST.
In those three seasons, no one would accuse the Tigers offense of being a dominant air attack.
Besides, look how great WV's passing game has gone for them the last two weeks. Putting up these BS numbers looks great to the uninformed yokels, but you aren't going to win the big one (or probably even play for the big one) in college footballwith that shite.
Commentators have to say something, and that's all Greasy was trying to accomplish.

We need a balanced attack, as does every team. Every week, the defense shows up, but the offense struggles. Even Wing is struggling.

At the end of the day, it is what it is.

Mett just has to hit the wide open receivers. Every time we threw deep our guys were very open but he overthrew them every time. Heck he seems to struggle when they are wide open but has the ability to fit in in in good coverage (Boone TD).

Mett needs to understand that he doesn't need to make a perfect throw but just a good throw to wide open guys.

This offense isn't remotely comparable to those 3, so that was kind of his point, and it was a spot on point.
