WTF does Alleva do at those meetings? Say "yessir, boss?"

no he votes against and has been fighting that it's unfair LSU plays Florida every year. FLorida has started complaining a bit as well in the past few years.

Doesn't matter. Bama drives the SEC decisions. Common Sense says Mizzou should be in the west, which would mean Aub goes to East. Bama wants Tennessee on their schedule and doesn't want Aub in the East.

We don't have any.

Auburn and UGA in september. Les might just lose a September game for the first time at LSU... I doubt it though.

How could you forget the shite fest for his first game in Tiger Stadium?

this is weird is it because we play in the kickoff on august 31st??

I thought we usually dont play with the first group of games so aug 31 seems a week early. maybe thats why we have two byes late in the year.

Its alright, no one has us beat on tailgating. The best part is the bar scene.

So no Thursday game or Friday after Thanksgiving (Nov 28), or will those dates be changed later?

The "Offical" date from the league is always on a Saturday.

It only changes to Friday when CBS officially picks it up for that slot.

Is the SEC really adopting a 6-game division, 1 permanent opponent, 1 rotating opponent format?

Arkansas kind of caught it in the butt too with USC and UF.

ARKANSAS
Sept. 28: TEXAS A&M
Oct. 5: at Florida
Oct. 12: SOUTH CAROLINA
Oct. 19: at Alabama
Nov. 2: AUBURN
Nov. 9: at Ole Miss
Nov. 23: MISSISSIPPI STATE
Nov. 30: at LSU

A&M, UF, USC and Bama makes for a tough 4 weeks of football.

This is what most people tell me. Looking forward to the game, like another poster said apparently their bar scene is the best.

So other than helping bama make their schedule easier what was really the point in screwing around with the schedules? They didn't change any permanent east opponents for any of the teams.

I'm just glad next year we didn't get railroaded into Texas am thanksgiving day tradition. I always like Arkansas to end the year. But in the coming years I'm sure lsu will be forced to bend to am's tradition.

Thanksgiving 2013 is Nov 28th.
